SPECTRON (S) is a spectrophotometric on-line analyzer that can be adapted for user-specified applications. The analyzer incorporates a diode array spectrophotometer for measurement at wavelengths from 380 to 780 mm. Measurement is quasi-continuous. SPECTRON (S) can be equipped per user choice with one or two reagent pumps, and with different configurations to measure for example nitrite, cobalt, or phenol. On-line Toximeter STIPTOX-adapt (B)

STIPTOX-adapt (B) is a continuous on-line toxicity analyzer. The bioreactor is populated with microorganisms from the wastewater treatment process. For the analysis, wastewater is continuously mixed with activated sludge and dilution water. So long as the wastewater is not toxic to the adapted biology, the organisms in the bioreactor take up dissolved oxygen. A toxic impact inhibits the respiration of the organisms, causing an increase in the dissolved oxygen level.

On-line Toximeter STIPTOX-norm

STIPTOX-norm is a toxicity analyzer with immobilized normalized biology. The normalized microorganisms are cultured by addition of a nutrient solution and grow as with the BIOX-1010 on the inner surface of small hollow cylinders. The regulation is the same as in STIPTOX-adapt(W).

On-line Toximeter STIPTOX-adapt (W)

STIPTOX-adapt (W) is a toxicity analyzer with immobilized turbulent- bed biology. As in the BIOX- 1010, the microbes grow on the inner surface of small hollow cylinders. Like the activated sludge of a treatment plant, the microbial population in the bioreactor is adapted to the conditions of the wastewater. So long as the wastewater is not toxic to the adapted biology, the organisms in the bioreactor take up dissolved oxygen. A toxic impact inhibits the respiration of the organisms, causing an increase in the dissolved oxygen level.
